Trend-setting dress code at Cattelan: checked shirt
The best of Italian illustration dressed the stage of E Poi c’è Cattelan, the talk show hosted by Alessandro Cattelan and broadcast on Sky Uno in late evening.
Now in its fifth season, the programme has conquered the Sky audience over the years, becoming the reference point of late night for millions of Italians. Every night many guests land on the EPCC stage, ready to perform comedy sketches and singing duets that often go viral on the web: the song “I problemi sono altri” performed with Ghali, for example, has reached 4 million views in just one month!
And like any self-respecting late-night show at #EPCC, a live band (the Street Clerks), lots of improvisation and a pinch of irreverence cannot be missing. In this case, however, we are not talking about Cattelan’s irreverence, but the irreverence shown by one of the show’s authors Marco Villa, aka quidwilla: Marco chose to wear screen-printed artwork from T-Shirt.it and paired it with polychrome checked shirts, strictly unbuttoned.
In episode after episode he wore almost all our T-Shirts: Skeletor by Van Orton Design, L’ultimo colore spenga la luce by Riccardo Guasco, Letters are things by Luca Barcellona and many others. The result was a daring but successful look, which you can admire for yourself in the gallery 😉
