The best job in the world

Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work another day in your life. It was Confucius who said this, but Luca Barcellona fully subscribes to it, as he himself explains: ‘Work, as I knew it at the beginning, meant hard work: an in-between interlude between one pleasure and another, necessary for sustenance. But since I turned my passion for calligraphy into my profession, the perspective has been turned upside down: I may devote the whole day to it, but it is never a burden. I am lucky enough to identify with what I do, and the days go by quickly. It is a fortune I wish everyone.
